Transportation
The numerous innovations in providing alternative and environmentally friendly transportation options are covered under the Transportations tab. The hotly debated “Subway to the Sea,” project continues to experience resistance due to the fact that the subway must travel under Beverly Hills High School. Although the school and its associated PTA have cited safety to block the extension of the subway, others are claiming the city of Beverly Hills are simply filled with the privileged and wealthy that are accustomed to having their own way in regards to preserving and maintaining the city in the manner they wish without consideration of the benefit of the greater city of Los Angeles.
